Relationships and walking in your singleness and being consecrated to God is one of my favorite things to talk about.  Getting out of the will of God to rendezvous in a unrighteous relationship results in a dangerous triangle of hurt, disease and a disfellowship with the Lord. When we jump in and out of relationships, we are seeking to fulfill the flesh, when our focus should be to seek God first and allow Him to fulfill the desires and needs of our hearts.

 

We need not hook up with just anybody and call it our husband or wife.  Doing so will leave us let down and discouraged performing the acts of repetitive sin, and awaiting the wrath of God.

 

What would it prosper a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul.  Mark 8:36

 

Christ is looking to spend quality time in consecration with you before you get into a new relationship.  We need to exhibit some restraint and let God handle our situation, otherwise you will end up facing failure.

 

Let patience have its perfect work. James 1:4

 

With obedience, focus and motivation, God will send what you need, don’t burn in the passion of lust!
